The Resort is at the border that separates Jiangxi and Fujian, and in the west of Wuyi Mountains, 20 km away from Ruijin, and it is close to National Highway 206 and Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway, which lead to the Resort, making it a place of convenient traffic. The Resort covers an area of 22 km2, including 72 hilltops of different sizes and 36 caves. It is a place where you may find lake, pond, rock and mountain peak. The Resort is divided into three parts, and now we are visiting the first part, which is a regular premium tour route – the core tourist zone of Luohanyan. These three characters you are seeing right in front of you are written by Mr. Chen Qizhi, a famous calligrapher, in the year of Yiyou, which is 2005. Each of these characters is a 3-meter long and wide square, carved in this precipice that is more than 50 meters tall.
