As we walk across Suoyun Bridge, we can hear the water flowing down from the mountains. Friends, what you are about to see is a hidden but beautiful spot, that is the magnificent Luohan Rock (Luohanyan) where the water falls!

Two streams of clear water pour down from the peak. The left stream is wiggled by the wind, like a wiggling pony tail, hence the name “Pony Tail Water”; another stream hits the rocks as it pours down, and the splattering sprays are soft and dense, just like how farmers wash rice. Sometimes a few drips may gently fall on the tourists, hence the name “Rice Washing Water”.
If you view these two waterfalls that have nearly a hundred meter difference in height from the cliff on the opposite side, you may find out that one of them is rapid, one of them is slow; one of them is tough and one of them is gentle; just like a hugging couple, and you may admire the miracles created by the nature.
